LG Electronics, a global leader and technology innovator in consumer electronics, announced on June 25th the unveiling of two new ultra slim LED Backlit LCD TVs. LED Backlit LCD HDTVs are the cream of the crop, providing unmatched picture quality. LGs Ultra Slim version is priced for the premium market segment and will be available for sale in July 2009.

According to LG, their new LED Backlit LED LCDs are brighter and clearer than anything else on the market thanks to backlighting that employs a total of 3,360 LEDs –- seven times more than existing edge-lit LED TVs.

LG’s newest ultra-slim full LED LCD TVs are super thin with a thickness of just 24.8mm. LG plans on bringing to market additional new LED LCD TVs by the end of the year as part of their 2010 sales targets.
